“The depth of our pitching staff keeps showing up for us,” said Coach Kevin Zaleski.  “The team is starting to play some of its best baseball.”

Summit Pitcher Jake Easton struck out seven and gave up one run to get the win in four innings of work. Will Gawronski and Jacobson pitched as well.

With the victory, the team now stands at 16-5-1. Wednesday’s game against Governor Livingston has been postponed until Monday, May 20. Summit travels to take on Westfield on Thursday, May 16.

"The boys are really starting to understand how important every single game is in this short season," said Zaleski.
