What’s Driving You Crazy? – A viewer vents about left turns around a barrier meant to prevent them
A viewer email about dangerous left turns in the far southwest valley. “I’ve seen many drivers eastbound on State Route 160 (heading toward Las Vegas) making illegal left turns on Avery Street just so they can cut through to State Route 159 all because they don’t want to make a left turn at the State Route 159 traffic signal 20 seconds down the road. It’s a ridiculous risk and reward. The Nevada Dept of Transportation should put up a “no left turn” sign and police need to ticket offenders. A barrier was installed to stop people from making left turns onto the side street but drivers are going around it.”
