In addition to its inviting paint-themed decor, the South Foley store aids customers in transforming spaces into works of art. Owners Billy and Cindy Mathis have more than 39 years of experience in the paint industry. The store, a PPG dealership, carries products including commercial paint, exterior and interior paints and industrial coatings.
Teen music prodigy hitting all the right notes at Baldwin County High School
When the Baldwin County High School Symphonic Band takes the stage for its spring concert later this week, they will be performing music written by a student who is not in the band, barely plays an instrument, has no formal musical training and is a gifted composer.

Hive Modern Home has opened at 151 Fly Creek Avenue, Suite 432 in Fairhope adjacent to the original Publix. The business strives to provide a curated and boutique experience. In addition to furniture and decor, the store also offers a variety of handmade gifts, including soaps, jewelry, candles and more. A grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for May 7 at 11 a.m. with the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. Hive Modern Home is owned by Philip Austin and Chris Menke.
Foley woman dies after crash in Baldwin County
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - A single-vehicle crash late Sunday afternoon in Baldwin County has claimed the life of a Foley woman. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Cathleen C. Taylor, 50, died at a local hospital where she was transported for treatment of critical injuries she sustained in the crash.

Alabama Man Attempts to Rob Arby’s With BB Gun and Fails Miserably
The man was identified as 23-year-old Preston Hope Northan. A man in Fairhope, Alabama, attempted to rob an Arby's restaurant and two customers with a BB gun, al.com reports. According to Gulf Shores police, the man walked into the fast food establishment and demanded an employee give him money while pointing the gun. The employee then ran to the back of the store to get the manager, which led to the man running out of the store.
