Crash on U.S. Highway 69 causes power outages in Overland Park
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) - A non-injury crash on southbound U.S. 69 Highway near 143rd Street caused power outages in Overland Park Wednesday evening. The Overland Park Police Department said construction equipment from the 69 Express Project struck a powerline which fell on a vehicle. The crash happened just after 4:30 p.m.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is in custody after an overnight standoff that started after police saw someone shoot a gun.
