SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–Police have now identified a man killed in a Sioux Falls motorcycle crash Sunday night. Twenty year-old Joseph Santucci of Sioux Falls died when he crashed a motorcycle at high speed, hit a curb and pole, and crashed in the area of East 57th Street and South Glenview Road.

Sioux Falls police identify motorcyclist in fatal Sunday crash
Police have identified the man who died Sunday from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Sioux Falls. Joseph Allen Santucci, 20, died at the scene Sunday, according to Sioux Falls Police Department spokesperson Sam Clemens. Officers responded to the scene near East 57th Street and South Glenview Road at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, where they located Santucci “adjacent to the roadway with life-threatening injuries,” according to previous Argus Leader reporting . A motorcycle was located nearby. An investigation revealed Santucci's motorcycle crashed in the eastbound lanes of East 57th Street between South Glenview Road and South Ash Grove Avenue, police said. Witnesses estimated Santucci’s speed was around 50 mph, which was above the posted speed limit, Clemens said. The man then appeared to lose control and strike a curb before hitting a pole.
