The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is attempting to locate an inmate who walked away from a reentry program Sunday in Stockton.

Estefani Saldana-Lemus, 27, was reported missing over the weekend following a routine security check at 9:52 p.m.

Corrections officials said a search and emergency count was conducted and the office of Correctional Safety as well as local law enforcement agencies were notified to assist them.

The inmate, who is part of the Female Community Reentry Program, was described as 5 feet 1 inches tall and was last seen wearing all black. She weighs 222 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.

A statement from CDCR said Saldana-Lemus was received from Fresno County last month to serve a five-year sentence for driving under the influence causing bodily injury or death.

Anyone with information about Saldana-Lemus is asked to contact law enforcement or 911.
