Lodi stunt has six first-team All-TCAL athletes
Coming off of their first Tri-City Athletic League title, Lodi High’s stunt squad had six athletes named to the all-league first team. Isabelle Hoedeman, Bella Godinez, Hailey Jette, Isabella Maldonado, Kamryn Lodi and Savannah Gonzalez were all named first team All-TCAL after Lodi went 6-0 in TCAL matches, and 18-18 overall.

Holt fends off Waverly comeback to advance in Hall of Fame Softball Classic
The second day of the Greater Lansing Hall of Fame Softball Classic kicked off with a matchup between CAAC Blue members Holt and Waverly. And after the teams split their league matchup earlier this season, it was Holt that prevailed as the teams met at Ranney Park with a spot in the Softball Classic semifinals on the line.
Lodi, Tokay players are first-team All-TCAL selections
The Tri-City Athletic League released its all-league team on Monday, with five first-team selections between Lodi and Tokay. Lodi, which went 10-5 in league play and finished 16-13 overall with a second-round Division II playoff exit, put pitcher Andrew Wright, outfielder Vance Haskins and utility player Brayden Stout on the first team.
Colusa Ducks finish season on high note
The Colusa Ducks competed in the CYSSA State skeet shoot in Stockton, on Sunday, May 21. Individual awards were given in multiple divisions. In the varsity division, Grayson Hardwick took second place with a 144/150, and Dustin Wurm took fifth place with a 142/150. In the JV division, Raegan Parisio took fifth place with a 130/150. In the IA division, Robert Shadley took second place with a 144/150, and Landon Barrett took third place with a 141/150. In the IE division, Caleb Manhart took second place with a 134/150, and in the rookie division, Riley Pearson took second place with a 123/150.

Seniors Reflect on Senior Assassins
Senior Assassin’s, a nationwide pastime you may have noticed taking place in our school with upperclassmen acting strange and ducking to their cars after tutorial and donning pool floaties at their favorite eateries. While not officially endorsed by Woodbridge High, students organize the game and it’s somewhat of a tradition. Every senior participating in the game is assigned a target to eliminate by spraying with water. Outside of the designated safe zones, including the school campus, the only defense is wearing an inflatable pool floaty.
Sports shorts: Flames 10th at NorCal golf, miss out on state
The Lodi High boys golf team carded a team score of 416 in Monday’s CIF NorCal Championship at Berkeley Country Club, placing 10th. The Flames fell short of advancing to the state tournament. NorCal sends its top three teams plus the top nine players apart from those teams to state. The Flames missed as a team and individually.
High schools: McDowell’s title leads local contingent at SJS track meet
For the second week in a row, Lodi High’s Mace McDowell is a champion. A week after the senior won the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I long jump champion, McDowell won the long jump at the SJS Track and Field Masters Meet, with a 22-foot, 11-inch leap on Saturday at Davis High.

Weston Ranch's Khristian Holmes signs to play for Azusa Pacific University basketball
Weston Ranch basketball is closing out the school year with its second signing day of the year. The Cougars gathered in the library this time for senior Khristian Holmes, who will take his talents to Azusa Pacific University, an NCAA DII program. Holmes inked his letter of intent on May 25 making him the first player from the program to sign with an NCAA program.

Falcons Return To State Championship
Stockton, CA – FLC punched its ticket to the CCCAA Baseball State Championship on Saturday with an 11-4 victory over the #2 seed, San Joaquin Delta College. The Falcons will represent Northern California as the top seed from the north (1N). Neighbor, Sierra College, is the other Northern California team in the field and enters the tournament as the number 2 seed from the north (2N). Representing Southern California as the top seed from the south (1S) is Saddleback College.
