Oklahoma State and Arizona emerged from their respective regionals after the first weekend of the 2024 NCAA softball tournament and are set to face off in the Stillwater super regional this weekend for a shot at the Women's College World Series.

The No. 5 Cowgirls dominated the Stillwater regional, beating Northern Colorado, Kentucky and Michigan by a combined 16-3. Lexi Kilfoyl is OSU's biggest threat on the mound with a 1.08 ERA in 155 innings pitched—she will test Arizona's high-firing offense as arguably the best arm the Wildcats will face all year.

Arizona participated in Arkansas' Fayetteville Regional, knocking the No. 12 Razorbacks into the losers' bracket where they were upset by Villanova. Arizona then took down Villanova 9-4 to advance to Stillwater and is one of two unseeded teams in the super regionals along with Baylor.
