Kimberly Coates 53, a third-grade teacher, arrested for being intoxicated at school
Kimberly Coates, 53, was charged with one count of public intoxication in connection with an incident that occurred on Thursday, August 17 in Perkins, Oklahoma. Later on in the day during the first day of class, staff members observed the Coates acting strangely and suspected that she was under the influence of alcohol. At that point they contacted the authorities. When confronted, Coates initially disputed drinking any alcohol; however, a breathalyzer test revealed that she was over three times the legal limit for intoxication.
