Reported from Oklahoma City -- Claire Timm's first-ever grand-slam home run sparked the Cowgirls of Oklahoma State as they defeated the Kansas State Jayhawks on Sunday afternoon .

With Jilyen Poullard contributing two home runs for the victors, the win at Cowgirls Stadium in Stillwater took just five innings. The win kept Kansas (now 11-13 in Big 12 competition, but 27-21-1 overall) at bay.

The Cowgirls are now 42-8 for the season, 19-5 in Big 12 play, and the consenus No. 4 team in NCAA Division II play. Poullard and Timm had the game in hand by the end of four innings, as the Cowgirls built a dominat 8-1 advantage.

The squad playing for Coach Kenny Gajewski -- who garnered career victory No. 100 on Friday night -- ended the game with Scotland David's dispositive walk-off double FBI at the end of the fifth stanza.
