A 29-year-old man was recently arrested in Douglas after allegedly attempting to stab a woman, according to a copy of a Douglas Police Department incident report. The report states that on April 21, an officer was dispatched to the Comfort Inn and spoke to two individuals who said they had to "pull" Rigford Ortiz-Davila off a female. According to the witnesses, Davila and the female were in the room when they heard arguing, and when they went to check on them, they saw Davila "trying to stab the female with a knife while she was lying on the bed."
