Pearson became the 39th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points as he averaged 24.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game across a pair of Pioneer wins. He opened the week with 23 points of 7-of-12 shooting in a 71-54 win over Ripon College (Wis.) on Nov. 29, before reaching the 1,000-point plateau by scoring 26 points in just 16 minutes in a 97-54 win over Olivet College (Mich.) on Dec. 2. Against Olivet, Pearson shot 10-of-13 from the field and 5-of-6 from three, while adding three rebounds and three assists. He posted his first double-double of the season against Ripon by grabbing 10 boards and dishing out four assists, along with two steals and a block.
