As a participant in the big box chain’s “ Costco Roadshow ,” Mama’s Creations will allow shoppers to try products so it can evaluate more permanent placement in Costco clubs regionally and nationally.
Stops are scheduled in Sterling, Va. (May 2-5), and Pittsburgh, Pa. (May 9-12). The demonstration will feature samples of four products: beef meatloaf; sausage, peppers & onions; jumbo meatballs and four types of canned sauces (original, homestyle, four cheese and mushroom).
Marketing activations across social media channels as well as digital display advertising are also planned to encourage members to visit the demo area while shopping, Mama’s Creations said.

The roadshow platform aims to give vendors a way to showcase their products or services. It has the potential to reach thousands of customers at Costco, the world’s third-largest retailer.
Mama’s Creations Chief Marketing Officer Lauren Sella said, “Building upon our previous successful product rotations in Costco, the roadshow will further elevate our brand in the region, and the one-to-one communication with customers will provide valuable insights and feedback as we seek to grow our presence in Costco.”
She went on to say, “We look forward to direct interaction with Costco members to introduce our products to new customers, and new varieties to existing customers. We continue to expand our partnership with Costco, with our products having seen rotations in five of eight regions over the past twelve months. Costco’s high-volume warehouses are ideal venues for our products, while our strict focus on margins ensures each sale meets our requirements, regardless of customer.”
Founded in 2010, Mama’s Creations makes and distributes all-natural beef, turkey, chicken and pork meatballs, as well as other similar Italian products. As part of a rebrand to better reflect the transition into a one-stop shop for prepared foods, the company changed its name in August 2023 from MamaMancini’s to Mama’s Creations.
It has more than 45,000 product placements nationally in grocery, club and convenience stores, including Costco, Kings, Whole Foods, ShopRite, Stop & Shop and The Fresh Market, as well as through QVC’s direct platform on live appearances, auto ships and online purchases.
