    Three Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Players Selected To Big Ten All-Tournament Team

    Three Penn State men’s lacrosse were named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team, the conference announced Sunday. TJ Malone, Matt Traynor, and Luke Walstrum were all recognized.

    Fifth-year attackman Malone tied Penn State’s program Big Ten Tournament record with 13 points in the tournament. This included seven points in the quarterfinals against Rutgers. Malone was the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and proved why through the three games the Nittany Lions played.

    Traynor did not record a point in the game against Rutgers but bounced back in the next two games with a combined seven. Walstrum had a successful tournament as well, with six points out of the midfield.

    Penn State will start its NCAA Tournament run on Sunday, May 12 . The Nittany Lions will face the 8-seed Georgetown in Washington D.C.
