Former Penn State defensive end Adisa Isaac was selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the No. 93 overall pick in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Isaac was the second edge rusher drafted from the Nittany Lions this year after Chop Robinson was selected No. 21 overall. Isaac was the fourth Penn Stater to hear his name called.

The Brooklyn, New York, native arrived on campus in 2019 as a highly touted defensive prospect and during his five years in Happy Valley, he lived up to that on and off the field. Isaac appeared in 11 games as a freshman, recording 1.5 sacks and forcing a fumble in a breakout game against Maryland.

During the abbreviated COVID-19 season, Isaac saw the field in every game, building on his freshman campaign by recording 13 tackles and 1.5 sacks. The edge rusher’s development on the field in 2021 stalled as he was forced to redshirt due to a season-ending injury.

Isaac came back stronger in 2022, tallying 28 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and four sacks in all 13 games. Isaac earned All-Big Ten third-team honors from the Big Ten coaches.

As one of the captains for Penn State last season, Isaac excelled on the field, racking up 37 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks. The redshirt senior earned All-Big Ten first-team honors from the media for his accomplishments last fall.

Isaac was expected to be the third Nittany Lion selected but instead fell behind Caedan Wallace , a second-round selection. Isaac, who will join Odafe Oweh and Jordan Stout in Baltimore, had second-round potential but fell toward the end of the third.
