DETROIT, Mi. (WTAJ) — Penn State offensive lineman Olu Fashanu was drafted 11th overall by the New York Jets. Fashanu spent the past two years as the Nittany Lions left tackle where he protected the blind side of Sean Clifford and Drew Allar.

Draft Profile: Olu Fashanu

Last year Fashanu was won the Big Ten Offensive Lineman Of The Year award and was an All American. In his two years as a starter Fashanu didn’t allow a sack in more than 680 pass blocking snaps.

Fashanu is the highest drafted Penn State player since Micah Parsons went 12th overall to the Cowboys in 2021 and is only the third Penn State offensive lineman to be drafted in the first round.
