Report: Penn State Hoops To Play Virginia Tech In Baltimore In November

Penn State men’s basketball will take on Virginia Tech next November at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, per Jon Rothstein of College Hoops Today . The game will be a part of a doubleheader series with Villanova and Virginia battling in the first matchup.

The matchup against the Hokies is the second reported schedule announcement for the Nittany Lions next season after it was previously reported that Mike Rhoades’ squad will compete in the Sunshine Slam in-season tournament in Daytona Beach next November.

Penn State competed in a similar matchup last season, traveling to New York to take on Georgia Tech at Madison Square Garden last December and traveled to Philadelphia for a matchup against Michigan at The Palestra .

The Nittany Lions last played the Hokies in 2022 in a two-point loss in the semifinal round of the Charleston Classic. This will be their eighth matchup against Virginia Tech all-time.
