Minnesota to swear in first Vietnamese American state court judge
Minnesota will swear in its first Vietnamese American state court judge today. Viet-Hanh Winchell will be sworn in as a state judge at the Washington County Courthouse in Stillwater, Minnesota, Pioneer Press reports. She will preside over the 10th Judicial District, which according to Minnesota Lawyer, encompasses Anoka, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Pine, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright counties.

The battle for the boys golf Big Rivers title went down to the wire at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax Thursday. Softball Game Recap: Amery Takes a Loss
Amery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell just short of the Cumberland Beavers by a score of 7-6. Amery was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cumberland apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.
