Marseilles Council Supports Grant Application for Main Street Revitalization
The Marseilles City Council approved a resolution supporting an Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program grant application for the first phase of its Main Street revitalization project. The proposed work would cover Main Street from the railroad tracks north of U.S. 6 and include new sidewalks, curbs, gutters, pavement and street lighting. Businesses would also be made accessible to people with disabilities.

Motorcyclists call for improved safety as Central Peoria intersection heads for major rebuild
PEORIA (25News Now) - Motorcycle advocates said visibility should be a key consideration as Peoria prepares to reconstruct the intersection of North Sterling and West Forrest Hill avenues at a cost of $7.6 million.
