Columbia County Circuit Clerk Angela Keith will have to resign from office following her sentencing Friday for tampering with physical evidence. Keith and her husband, Benjamin Keith, were both remanded into custody after they were sentenced by Circuit Court Judge David Talley Jr. The charges stemmed from a Thursday, April 6 incident at Santiago’s Mexican Restaurant in Magnolia.

A Texas truck driver died about 8:11 a.m. Thursday when his vehicle crashed at the Interstate 49 northbound 4.5-marker near Doddridge (Miller County). According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Earnest R. Martinez Jr. was driving a 2024 model International north on the highway when it left the roadway, struck several trees and caught fire.

TEXARKANA, Ark. – All five dogs involved in the attack and death of a Genoa, Ark., woman have been captured and euthanized. According to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, Brenda Whitt was found on Sunday in a vehicle on her property on County Road 18 where she apparently tried to take cover from the pack of dogs.
