Alleged thief caught on camera
Snow Shoe, Pa. — A man who stole a portable battery charger from a FedEx facility was caught on security footage, police say. Calvin Lee Jones, 58, was spotted on camera as he walked out of the janitor's closet at the freight facility, 401 E. Sycamore Road, on April 19, according to Trp. Ty Ammerman with state police at Rockview. Although Jones tried to conceal the Schumacher Pro Series charger under his shirt, the red clamp was hanging out below his shirt line and was clearly visible, Ammerman noted. An employee at the facility contacted police and turned over the footage. When questioned, Jones reportedly admitted he stole the charger, worth $276.
