New Story Walk Trail Unveiled at J. Travis Price Park

The City of Springfield joined TN Voices on Saturday, May 4 for a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil a permanent story walk trail at J. Travis Price Park at 4155 Wilks Road.

This innovative trail offers a unique reading experience for visitors of all ages, combining the joys of literature with the beauty of nature.

The new story walk trail was made possible thanks to funding from multiple organizations including TN Voices/Connecting Robertson County, the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation, Kiwanis of Springfield TN, and the Robertson County Schools Family Resource Center.

The Springfield Parks & Recreation Department assembled and installed the necessary hardware to display the engaging story of “The Bugliest Bug” by Carol Shields along the trail.
