SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A tornado warning has expired for the following counties in our viewing area: Christian, Barry, Webster, and Lawrence Counties.

A circulation has been spotted traveling towards Nixa, Ozark near Highway 14, and Rogersville.

A tornado was confirmed on the ground near the intersection of Highway 60 and the exit for Business 60 outside Monett.

Storm spotters are reporting multi-vortex tornados on the ground in this area.

Warnings have been issued for Clever, Ozark, Nixa, and Billings in Christian County and Crane in Stone County as the tornado path continues east.

Residents in these areas should take cover immediately in a basement, storm shelter, or, if none of those are available, an inner room.
