    MSU splits, Hesse wins 920th career game

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The Missouri State softball Bears opened their last series of the regular season at Killian Stadium Friday.

    The Bears and Indiana State playing a double header.

    It’s MSU coach Holly Hesse’s last home games of her 36 year career.

    She’s retiring after the season.

    The Bears got a grand slam from Olivia Krehbiel and won the opener 4-2.

    That was Hesse’s 920th win of her MSU career.

    But the Sycamores rallied to win the nightcap 6-5.
