Three injured after Boston Road crash in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Three people were injured after a two-car crash on Boston Road in Springfield Tuesday morning.

According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers were called to the crash around 8:50 a.m. on Boston Road near the intersection of Tavistock Street. One of the drivers was ejected from her vehicle in the crash.

She was taken to Baystate Medical Center for serious injuries but is expected to be okay. Her passenger and the other driver in the crash were also taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

The Springfield Police Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
