Special Report Preview: Spokane teacher under investigation, back in the classroom

SPOKANE, Wash. — When you send your kids off to school, you trust they will be in safe, responsible hands until they are home.

But some fourth-grade parents at a Spokane Elementary School began to question that trust when their child's teacher was arrested, tested positive for cocaine, and let back in the classroom.

They came to us hoping to find out why she could return and teach their children less than six months later.

KXLY's Natalie Grant sits down with parents of children currently in her class who are worried about their children's safety and the quality of their education.

What was the agreement that allowed this teacher back in the classroom?
