Man charged with trafficking drugs after allegedly throwing meth over prison fence
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) A Christian County man was charged on Tuesday after authorities claim he threw about 64.2 grams of methamphetamine over a fence on March 30 at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City. SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Over the weekend, the First Alert Weather Team kept an eye on a few rounds of strong to severe t-storms that rolled through the Ozarks. While Sunday morning started with rain across much of the area, the atmosphere got unstable enough to allow for a tornado watch to go out for parts of southwest Missouri at 5:15 p.m. For our Missouri counties, that watch only included Stone, Barry, Newton and McDonald counties. Outside of the watch, storms marched into Greene and Christian counties where a tornado warning went into effect around 8:40 Sunday night.

Retromania Live bringing the 80s to Branson
The end of August in Branson is going to give visitors and guests a chance to party hearty with a totally tubular music festival that will be anything but grody to the max. Retromania Live will be a five-day music festival from August 21 through August 25 at various locations, but focused mainly at the Mansion Theatre in Branson. The festival will feature multiple 80s rock stars along with multiple special events including 80s movies at 80s prices, artist meet and greets, after party concerts and events, and a special Silver Dollar City wrapup day.
