Sparta Boys Lax Beats Hunterdon Central in H/W/S Semifinal Game

SPARTA, NJ – Sparta boys lacrosse moves to the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex finals after defeating Hunterdon Central on Tuesday. The top seed Spartans beat the number five seed Red Devils 10-2.

Parker Hein was in net for the win making five stops. Jake Alliegro got some time as Sparta’s netminder with a save.

Hunter Takacs, Eddie Brown, Matt Ciarelli and Michael Pandiscia each scored twice. Marco Aquino and Greg Peters both scored once.
Takacs and Luke Spelman were credited with two assists. Brown, Ciarelli and Eric McCall each contributed with an assist.

Adam Teiseira won seven of 15 faceoffs.

Sparta, with a record of 12-2 will see second seed Pope John in the H/W/S final game on Saturday at Hunterdon Central with an 11 a.m. start.

On Thursday the Spartan boys lax team will play at Lenape Valley.
