Sparta High School Honors 2024 Seniors

SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta High School softball team celebrated their four seniors at the game on Thursday. Coach Gretchen Bowie held a small recognition program before the game with flowers handed out to the seniors on both squads.

Alexa Berry is a four-year varsity letter earner for the Spartans.  She has a record of 47 career hits, 39 career RBIs, eight career home runs with a slugging percentage of .473. Alexa will continue her education at Rowan University next year.

Gabrielle Heim is a three-year varsity letter earner for the Spartans. She has recorded 51 career hits, 34 career RBIs and has a career batting average of .304. In the circle, Heim has pitched a total of 108.1 innings, recording 163 strikeouts, with an ERA of 2.13.  She will continue her athletic and academic career at RPI next year.

Grace Conrad is a three-year varsity letter earner for the Spartans.  She has pitched a total of 144.2 innings, recording 199 strikeouts, 44 earned runs allowed with a career ERA of 2.13.  Conrad will continue her athletic and academic career at Fairfield University next year.

Molly Moran is a two-year varsity letter earner for the Spartans.  This young lady is the definition of what it means to be a teammate.  Throughout the past two seasons together, Molly has never failed to put a smile on all of her teammate’s faces.  Moran will continue her education at URI next year.
