SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Southington Police arrest a suspect who allegedly robbed a gas station convenience store for a second time.

Police say Gregory West, 40, of Plainville, threated to injure the clerk during an alleged robbery of the Fleet gas station on the Meriden Waterbury Turnpike around 10 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

West allegedly got away with an undetermined amount of money.

Police say they were able to track down West as a suspect. They were able to identify him and track him down, because police say West was arrested in 2016 for the robbery of the same gas station.

West is charged with third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.

Bond is $350,000.
