SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) – South Windsor police say a Bloomfield man intentionally ran over a Target employee’s foot when they tried stopping him from robbing the store in March.

Gary L. Kenion, 52, was charged on an active arrest warrant for sixth-degree larceny and third-degree robbery.

His charges stem from a March incident, during which Kenion is accused of stealing $267.68 from Target.

When an employee attempted to stop him from leaving the store, police said he ran over their foot on purpose.

Kenion was already in state custody on charges from other jurisdictions but appeared in Manchester Superior Court Thursday on these ones.
