Potential bad weather won't stop most of this weekend's festivals in Hampton Roads
NORFOLK, Va. — This weekend is jam-packed with festivals and events across Hampton Roads. But could some of those potential showers put a damper on people’s plans?. Organizers of Bayou Bon Vivant ended its first of three nights on Friday. The Louisiana-inspired festival brings all the sites and smells of the Crescent City to the Chesapeake Bay with its food, culture and music. Organizer Jordan Lett says this festival is going on rain or shine.

VADOC, Virginia State Police and Chesapeake police conducted an interdiction operation at Indian Creek Correctional Center on Saturday, March 30, during which visitors were screened for drugs and other contraband.
