Police: Man arrested menaced others with rifle
SCRANTON, Pa. — Police in Lackawanna County said a man armed with an AK-47 rifle menaced others in part of West Scranton on Saturday night. Officers responded to Oram Street and North Bromley Avenue around 7:30 p.m. According to police, Elvis Ray Nieves-Medina showed up at a porch there carrying the rifle about 15 minutes after getting into a minor verbal argument with someone who lives there.
