THATCHER, Box Elder County — An earthquake measuring in at a 4.3 magnitude was recorded near Thatcher in Box Elder County on Sunday evening. The quake happened at 5:30 p.m., according to a preliminary report from the University of Utah Seismograph Stations. The epicenter was located about 10 miles southwest of Thatcher.

The body of Kay Prince Vest, 80, was found in a submerged vehicle in the Weston Reservoir by Oneida County, Idaho Sheriff’s deputies, according to the release. Vest was reported missing on April 8 and a silver alert was issued. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said there were no obvious signs of foul play to Vest, according to Oneida County authorities.
