Two teens and a young adult injured in Kinston shooting
KINSTON, Lenoir County — On Monday, May 13, 2024 at approximately 9:20 p.m., members of the Kinston Police Department responded to a report of individuals that have been shot near the 300 block of S. Davis St. in Richard Green Housing Complex. Upon arrival officers located two female juveniles ages 13 and 15 suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to ECU Medical Center, where they remain in stable condition. While detectives were at the scene investigating, they were called to UNC Lenoir Hospital, where a third victim had arrived and was seeking treatment. The third victim was identified as Rayshon Aytch, 20, of Kinston.
