Casinos Doing Better, But In-Person Gaming Revenue Down
Atlantic City’s casinos reported an increase in revenue of over ten percent during April, but there is bad news. In-person gaming revenue continues to drop at a majority of the gaming halls. The total win figure from casinos, sports betting, and more was slightly over a half billion dollars last month. Six of the nine casinos saw drops in in-person gaming revenues.
Longtime Chinese restaurant demolished in Margate
MARGATE – A longtime Chinese restaurant the locals often refer to as Billy Ho’s was demolished last week to make room for a new mixed use development. The restaurant at the corner of Douglas and Ventnor avenues most recently operated as Liang’s Imperial East but has been closed for several years.
