Geneva’s Evan Griffin commits to Troy Basketball
GENEVA, Ala (WDHN) — Troy Basketball has achieved 20-win seasons for three consecutive years but has yet to overcome the challenge in the Sun Belt Tournament. The team hopes that a commitment from Geneva High School’s Evan Griffin will help them reach new heights. The 6-foot-9 forward had a standout season, leading the Panthers and earning First Team All-State honors in 4A. Griffin shot 51.6 percent from the field, averaging 25 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks, and over 2 assists per game.
