SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Some local football players participated a quarterback and wide receiver camp at the Sanford Fieldhouse.

Several dozen middle and high school age players from the area took part in the event. They learned skills and tips from former and current local college players.

“It’s cool to see some of the kids that I knew when they were younger,” ,” former SDSU wide receiver Jake Weineke said. “Now to see them grown up a little bit in high school and get to work with them, it’s pretty special. It’s been a lot of fun to even see such a great group of kids and get to know them a little bit and be around a great coaching staff.”

In addition to Weineke, the list of instructors included Chris Streveler, Aidan Bouman, Mark Gronowski, Chase Mason, and Griffin Wilde.
