    Dakota Relays wrap up with second day of events

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Howard Wood Dakota Relays concluded Saturday with several events.

    In the boys 110-meter hurdles, Sturgis’ Aidan Hedderman pushed his way to first in the photo finish at 14.27.

    On the girls side, Berkeley Engelland from Mount Vernon/Plankinton breezed past the field in the 400-meter race with a time of 55.72, two seconds clear of second.

    Brynn Bakken from Hills-Beaver Creek, claimed first in the 100-meter race with the time of 11.98, a tenth of a second ahead of second.

    In the special Olympics 100-meter races, Dannica Sheets from Aberdeen Central and Pierre’s Kaden Cumbow finished first.
