OMAHA, NEBRASKA (KCAU) – The longest standing rivalry in arena football kicked off its 51st matchup between the Sioux City Bandits and unbeaten Omaha Beef on Saturday night.

Sioux City looked spoil their rival’s undefeated run, but Omaha continued its win streak over its I-29 foe, building off a 20-6 halftime lead towards a 33-6 Bandits loss.

Former Nebraska quarterback and Beef signal-caller Tommy Armstrong Jr racked up 4 touchdowns while Drew Prohaska scored the Bandits’ lone touchdown of the game in the second quarter.

The two teams square off once more in Sioux City on Saturday, May 18th. Kickoff set for 7:10pm inside the Tyson Events Center.
