Tax increase, cash reserves will cover new expenses in 2027 Great Falls budget
The Great Falls City Commission Tuesday passed a $169 million budget for 2027 and gave initial approval to property tax increases of about $61 on a $600,000 home. Buyers have more homes to choose from than they did at the start of the year, competition has balanced in a few slower markets, and price growth has remained relatively modest. Affordability is still a key issue and is limiting activity, though.
