Choteau Elementary School in Montana is acknowledging the achievement of Ms. Crawford’s 6th grade class. They have been named Montana State Reading Champions. This title was given as part of READBowl 2024: The World Championship of Reading. This global reading competition is organized by Read With Malcolm, the Youth Literacy Initiative of NFL Super Bowl Champion and children's book author Malcolm Mitchell. Fairfield Food Pantry Offers January Report

Car Crash fatality in Cascade County
(Cascade) On Sunday, February 18th, a car crash took one person’s life in Cascade County near Great Falls. Police say the vehicle was heading east-bound when the operator lost control on the icy surface of the road and went into a ditch, the drive then over corrected, attempting to get back onto the road, which caused a spin. The vehicle overturned several times, the passenger was found ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene. He was 43 years old.
