Students Taking a Renewed Interest (STRIVE) in the Value of Education. On Wed, April 17, the Cokato Dassel Rotary Club hosted their annual end-of-year banquet at the Dassel History Center. Six scholarships were awarded to Dassel Cokato High School seniors: Braylon Loeschen, Landon Selseth, Faith McNair, Yazmyn Butcher, Alex Densmore, and Isabelle Densmore.
Learn about American flag in program at Senior Center
We have a presentation coming up at the center called, “The U.S. Flag: Origins, Evolution, and Symbolism” that we hope you can attend. Students can earn credits for community service
Two weeks ago, The Patriot published a story about an opportunity high school students now can get to earn credits toward graduation for working in a health care field such as a senior living facility, hospital, clinic, or licensed child care center. Next school year, Waconia students also will be able to get credit for community service.
