Kennedy Catholic Seniors Earn More Than $32 Million in Merit-Aid Awards
SOMERS, N.Y. - Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School’s Class of 2024 has earned acceptances to over 250 colleges with over $32.9 million dollars in merit-aid awards. Among the students who received merit-awards (over 50%), the average award amount exceeded $400,000 over the course of four years. This year, seniors were accepted to the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the University of Notre Dame, Georgetown University, the University of Michigan, Cornell University, Northwestern University, and dozens of other highly selective schools. Officials Dedicate John Jay High School Veterans Memorial Highway
CROSS RIVER, N.Y. - On Saturday, May 25, veterans’ advocates proudly joined Lewisboro officials, State Senator Pete Harckham, and Assemblymember Chris Burdick to officially dedicate a stretch of Route 121 as the “John Jay High School Veterans Memorial Highway.” Harckham and Burdick originally introduced legislation in July 2023 to rename the highway in front of JJHS to honor the memory of six veterans who were alumni and died in service.
