Pa. school bus driver suspended for having gun while transporting students: officials
A bus driver for the Hopewell School District in Beaver County has been suspended for having a gun on him while he was transporting students. District superintendent Jeff Beltz said in a letter to parents that the unidentified driver was taking students to Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School and Midland Innovation and Technology Charter School on Thursday when a student saw a gun fall from the driver’s lap onto the floor.
Vehicle crashes into martial arts studio in Pine Township
PINE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) -- A car slammed into a martial arts studio in Pine Township on Monday night.The crash happened at Rothrock's Kung Fu and Tai Chi studio on Perry Highway.The owner tells KDKA that there was a class in session at the time of the crash, but all of the students were in the back of the studio when one of the parents in their Tesla slammed into the building.No one was hurt.It's unclear what led up to the crash at this time.

The advisory was for Allegheny, Beaver and Washington counties. "The Flood Advisory will expire at 4:45 a.m. early this morning for portions of east central Ohio, including the following area, Jefferson OH, Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Allegheny, Beaver and Washington, and the northern panhandle of West Virginia, including the following areas, Brooke and Hancock. The heavy rain has ended for all areas except in Allegheny County, where a Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 7:15 a.m. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," states the National Weather Service.
