Woman dies in single-vehicle collision on Algonquin Parkway
A woman is dead after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a tree in the 1200 block of Algonquin Parkway on Thursday, Louisville Metro Police said. LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said Fourth Division officers responded to a report of a collision around 1:20 p.m. Officials from the Louisville Fire Department and Metro EMS attempted to render aid, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
