NILE Colt Classic offers youth a chance to showcase their skills
The upcoming Northern International Livestock Expo (NILE) will give a group of young horsemen and women a chance to showcase their skills through the NILE Colt Classic. The event features a restart clinic for colts that were initially started in the spring and will get a refresher at the NILE. The restart is available for public viewing and will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Oct. 18-20 in the Superbarn at the MetraPark in Billings, Mont. A preview of the colts for sale will be held at a social event at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20.
Billings Salvation Army aims to clothe 240 children this year, needs applicants
Billings, Mont. - The Salvation Army is seeking applicants for dress-a-child with the goal of dressing 240 children this year. Dress-A-Child began in the 1980's with the goal of providing warm clothing to children ranging from kindergarteners to sixth graders. Volunteers help children shop for $150 worth of clothing per child, according to the release sent out by the Salvation Army Monday, September 25.
