The mothers of two Famous Dave’s employees who were murdered on May 29, 2021 in Branson are suing the restaurant and the suspected killer for wrongful death. A lawsuit filed in Taney County court by Krystal Buhl’s mother Debbra Keener and Charlotte Cordova, mother of Richard McMahan, claim Jones Restaurants Missouri LLC, who operate Famous Dave’s, did not provide adequate safety for their workers for a restaurant located in a dangerous location.

Hollister awards road rehabilitation contract
The city of Hollister awarded a contract to Capital Paving & Construction LLC for an upcoming road rehabilitation project at the Thursday, June 6 Board of Aldermen meeting. The company’s bid, which was the lowest of three received, came in at $216,200. Other bids received included amounts of $318,425 and $272,412.50. The contract award was recommended by HDR Engineering Project Manager Travis Heier.
