LAKEWOOD, Ohio – Attempted grand theft: Madison Avenue. A man called 911 at 5:43 p.m. on May 7 and reported that people were stealing cars and had guns, according to a police event report. Officers arriving at the scene learned that the suspects attempted to steal a Kia in an apartment parking lot but failed. They fled in the Nissan Altima in which they arrived.
