Portion of South Taylor Drive in Sheboygan to close for reconstruction starting Monday. Here's what to know.

SHEBOYGAN — Beginning April 22, a portion of South Taylor Drive will be reduced to one lane of traffic in both directions.

The restrictions are the result of reconstruction work and will affect the portion of road between Union Avenue and Kohler Memorial Drive, according to an announcement from the City of Sheboygan Department of Public Works.

The reconstruction is scheduled to be completed in the fall. Traffic impacts and work are subject to change and are dependent on weather.

The announcement asks drivers to slow down and use caution in construction zones.

“The city of Sheboygan understands the inconveniences experienced during road construction and appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation as construction projects are completed,” the announcement said.
